It’s been 2 1/2 years…

Obviously much has happened and changed in the last two and a half years. I don’t need to share it all, but this weekend is a start on a new chapter for our family and we couldn’t be more excited about it!

We are packing up and moving home to Pittsburgh. We’ve had so many plans not come to fruition in the last two years or had plans that didn’t turn out the way we thought they would. We’ve had good adventures and difficult ones, but we’ve been strengthened as a family. Now, as a retired-military family, we are moving back to the place that has held our hearts for years. We are going to be with family and finally NOT have to say goodbye after the holidays are over.

Hubs and I have learned so much about ourselves; what we want and need in our lives, who we are as our own people without the identity of a military family on us, and we’ve realized that for us, there is no place like home.

So, here’s to a new chapter in our lives, family, friends, and a blog reboot!

I hope you enjoy it!
